QUALITY
Quality is the most important priority at Modega. To be able to obtain the highest quality level, 100 % of the production is handled in-house with 80 full time personnel, paying utmost attention to quality.A 7-layer quality control procedure is applied starting from the arrival of the production materials to the warehouse until the final packing.
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
The company works in close cooperation with the customer to propose, design and produce samples by means of the following processing stages.- Identification and proposal of the yarns.
- Production of the test swatches.
- Proposal of the industrial finishing techniques.
- Preparation of estimated price offer.
- Production of the prototypes.
- Implementation of the corrections based on the customer’s critics.
- Production of the SMS collections.
PRODUCTION PROCESS

Wet finishing process, which was designed by an Italian consulting company, is carried out on computer controlled milling and drying machines. The milling and finishing agents are imported from Italy.
Widely used yarn qualities, both in woolen and worsted yarn types are:
- 100 % Cashmere.
- Cashmere blends.
- 100 % Merino Wool extra fine.
- Alpaca and Mohair blends.
- Stretch yarn qualities in all types and thicknesses.
- Viscose blends, filament viscose.
- 100 % Cotton qualities in a wide range.
- 100 % Linen.
PRODUCTION MINIMUMS AND LEAD TIMES
MOQ for production is 400 units per style usually regardless of colour limitations.General production lead time range between 6 to 8 weeks depending on the season.
Sample lead time is 3 weeks for prototypes and 2 weeks for salesmen samples.
